Documentation
Short guides that explain how each part of Be My PDF works. If you need a longer walkthrough of a specific workflow, the blog has step-by-step articles.
Getting started
Every tool works the same way: drop a file into the dropzone, choose your options, click the action button, and download the result. Because processing happens locally, nothing is uploaded — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
Working with PDFs
Merge, split, rotate, crop, and reorder are the four operations that solve the majority of daily PDF chores. The organize tool combines them into a single drag-and-drop interface so you can rearrange dozens of pages in a few seconds.
Convert to and from PDF
Convert PDFs to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, PNG, or WebP — and back. Each converter picks the best available engine at runtime, falling back to a pixel-accurate rasterizer if a document uses exotic fonts.
Developer API
The same operations that power the web UI are available as a REST API for teams that need to embed PDF processing into their own products. Rate limits, authentication, and pricing are documented on the API page.
AI & MCP integration
Be My PDF exposes a Model Context Protocol server so agents like Claude, ChatGPT desktop, and Cursor can search tools, discover schemas, and invoke conversions on behalf of a user. The manifest is discoverable at the /.mcp endpoints.
