GDPR compliance
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you specific rights over your personal data. This page explains what those rights mean at Be My PDF and how to exercise them.
Data controller
Be My PDF, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India — reachable at connect.cosmodex@gmail.com — is the controller for the personal data described in the Privacy Policy.
Your rights
- Access. Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification. Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure. Ask us to delete your data (the “right to be forgotten”), subject to limited legal exceptions.
- Restriction. Ask us to pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability. Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection. Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
- Automated decisions. We do not make decisions about you using solely automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
- Complaint. Lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
How to file a request
Email connect.cosmodex@gmail.com from the address associated with your account (if you have one) with a brief description of what you would like us to do. We aim to respond within 30 days and free of charge. If a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act, and we will explain why.
Lawful bases
We rely on performance of a contract to deliver the tools you ask for, legitimate interest to keep the service secure and measure aggregate usage, and consent for advertising and non-essential analytics cookies where local law requires it.
International transfers
When personal data leaves the EEA we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (2021 version) with our sub-processors and, where applicable, on adequacy decisions published by the European Commission.
